This large, round porcelain platter has a wonderful, colorful French country folk art Christmas scene. Villagers, & the magi, traverse the snow-covered hill to the center of their mountain village to see the living creche at the church.
But it's not only people: sheep, a turkey, dogs, even an owl are nearby, as are fir trees & houses. The more you look, the more you see, and it's easy to get lost in this enchanting scene.
This round chop plate or serving platter is approximately 12 3/8" in diameter. It is marked on the back w/the Villeroy & Boch logo & other information. It is dishwasher and microwave safe.
In very good preowned condition. No chips or cracks. A few utensil marks commiserate with age and use. One small spot of missing glaze on the top. Just looks like snow at the base of a tree. See last photo.
